Once upon a time
at a farm there was a goat. He was telling his mom everyday that he wanted a
long neck and brown spots so he could be different than the other goats. He
also wanted to live in a hot place.
So he left the
farm and went to Asia, past the Middle East, to Egypt and found the Sahara
Desert. Everyday he kept saying, “I wish I had a long neck”. Each day, his neck
grew longer, and longer until reached the sky then the space. He was getting
closer, and closer to the sun until his ears started burning. That is when his
ears got the funny shape. His body burned a little bit and that is how he got
the brown spots. The goat said,” I wish I had a smaller neck that wouldn’t
reach the sun”. He kept getting a smaller neck everyday until he reached the
trees. He stopped there to eat leaves and he wished, his neck stopped growing.
He was finally
happy because he was the first giraffe in Africa with brown spots and a long
neck.
